Over 40 million Air Disc Brakes from Knorr-Bremse have been installed all over the world since 1992. Knorr-Bremse set a new standard with the introduction and development of pneumatically actuated disc brakes for commercial vehicles up to 44 tonnes and it has continued to expand its leading position as a provider of Air Disc Brakes and complete systems for commercial vehicles over time. Today, brake calipers from Knorr-Bremse are in use by almost all major OE manufacturers in wheel sizes 17.5”, 19.5” and 22.5” – in trucks, buses and trailer axles.

With our custom-tailored Knorr-Bremse service concept, we help ensure your commercial vehicles keep on running reliably and whenever needed, get them back on the road fast. The service concept includes maintenance and replacement of all spare parts, such as brake pads, brake discs, complete service kits and tools for professional disc brake maintenance.

In addition, we offer to the Aftermarket rationalized Calipers for all existing brakes. Instead of replacing the entire disc brake, including the brake carrier and brake pads, only the Caliper is replaced. This saves time and makes service more cost-efficient. Another advantage is that omitting the brake carrier and pads reduces variants, which results in less storage space needed.

We believe even high-mileage commercial vehicles deserve premium quality replacement parts. That is why we offer our genuine remanufactured EconX Calipers for vehicles with a short remaining service life as a cost optimized and safe alternative. As an OE manufacturer, we understand the technical requirements for each and every part in detail. Products are completely disassembled, cleaned and mechanically remanufactured during the process. Anything that can’t be given a “second life” is replaced with original new parts.
