Pipe Markers – Supporting a more efficient replacement of Knorr-Bremse parts

It is not an uncommon task in workshops to have to replace complete parts of a braking system in a commercial vehicle, such as replacing the EAC. Such a task involves disconnecting the old part and reconnecting the new part to the vehicle’s pneumatic system.

Depending on the vehicle’s configuration’s complexity, this may involve disconnecting and connecting many pneumatic pipes. In some cases, it may be quite hard to remember exactly which pipes need to be connected to which specific ports of the replaced system.

This is where the Knorr-Bremse TruckServices pipe markers come in handy! The pipe markers have been designed for use with the EAC systems from Knorr-Bremse and are each marked with the number of a port that may be connected to one of the listed systems.

Let us know what you think about our pipe markers!

We are very much interested in getting your feedback about the pipe markers and would be happy if you could fill out our survey.

One Pipe Marker can be used for the three different sizes of pipes which are commonly used in pneumatic braking systems (with thread sizes M12, M16 and M22).

Supported EACs:

  • EAC 1
  • EAC 2.1
  • EAC 2.5

The color scheme was designed to make the printed port numbers easier to read when used in a workshop environment and also implements the following pattern:

Yellow: Control / Output Lines

Blue: Output Lines / Pipe marker 4: Control Line

Red: Supply Lines

Easy-to-use

The Pipe Markers are designed to be easy to clip-on the pipes and to detach them rapidly again.
